Great idea for a T-shirt, "Beforechestra". I'm afraid I had the cheek to reply to P Hux, suggesting he bring out a range of household gloves to match: P Hux seemed to appreciate the joke - he replied: "Why didn't I think of that?"

This is a heads up for a spot this evening.
Quote from Bev:
“ Myself , Roy Wood and Jasper Carrott on BBC Midlands Today later , at 6.30pm . We are wishing John Taylor a happy 100th birthday . John was head of Hollick & Taylor studios in Birmingham , where lots of Midland groups made their first recordings , including The Move. Also where we recorded U.K. top five hit “Funky Moped” in 1975.”

Good little piece! it seemed like Roy and Bev were amicable to each other. John Taylor looked well for 100 didn't he! and was that an early Slade pic just after the Thunderbirds clip?

Another anniversary this year - 20th anniversary of The Orchestra’s No Rewind album. I wonder if they’d consider putting out a bookend album? Cliff Hillis is a talented writer. Eric and Hux are still there. And Kickstarter makes it relatively easy to cover the costs.
How about it - 1 more time in honor of Lou!

Cliff Hillis from The Orchestra is getting some airplay with his new song, "Let's Pretend" (that it's midnight). He collaborated with Rhett Miller of The Old '97s - good move!

ELO part 2 in Kiev, 1999 it's an interesting video in that someone took the time to splice in footage from vintage ELO alongside the '99 concert for instance at the 56:30 point you can see Kelly from about 1980 singing Last Train to London along with himself in 1999

That bit with Kelly and Last Train... was nice. Shout out to Mik, too.
