Camelia is adorable and seems super sweet and supportive. Since I can't have Jeff I'm glad she does. I would be willing to set up some sort of timeshare with her if he becomes too much to handle I think that's what has got him in trouble in the past - a bit of 'timesharing'. True. But really, there's only one Jeff to go around so she shouldn't be hoggish about him.

I've noticed there are a few anti-ELO or anti-Jeff Lynne fans around on YouTube. I remember one who went round all Wilburys videos talking shit about Jeff, saying he is a fame-hungry muppet. i remember the anti-Jeff-Lynne troll who was going around to all the ELO videos announcing that Jeff was gay and using a lot of really gross language to elaborate wildly and absurdly on that theme. He would always start out "Jeff Lynne is gay. It's a well known fact." It looked to me like he had even created more than one account so he could converse with himself about it. At first his comments upset me "Why does he hate Jeff Lynne so much?" I wondered. Oddly he had a pretty solid knowledge of ELO members, songs, lyrics. After a while I came to the conclusion that he must have been someone who noticed what a rabidly adoring breed ELO fans are and decided it would be a kick to see how utterly upset he could make us. Despite the gross language he used and the underlying, truly vile anti-gay sentiment of his comments I sort of found myself weirdly admiring his audacity and stick-to-it-iveness Yeap, that was what I was talking about. At the end of the day those trolls have a more profound knowledge on ELO than you would have thought. It's not that but the combination of ignorance and willingness to talk about it what pisses me off.

About time too, at last a reviewer who properly appreciates Damey's greatness

This is the effect of elophile's flamethrower, look how music critics are all kind and praiseful towards Jeff now. No one wants to be the next human barbecue.

"His words in “Tightrope,” are words that have permanently sunk into my mind since the day I first heard them — “They say some days you’re gonna win, they say some days you’re gonna lose.” I was riddled with stress and self-doubt in the weeks before I handed in my dissertation for my undergraduate degree. Hearing these soothing and reassuring words from one of my favourite songs gave me that little nudge to power on through and get that hellish assignment finished." Well... She actually ignores how those lines go on: "I tell you I got news for you / You're losing all the time, you'll never win..." Anyway. A nice story. When I heard this song for the first time i thought it is perfect for those moments when you just want to dwell in self-pity and whine for everything. Jeff off course shoots down this idea by ending the song "When I closed my eyes, I was so surprised (Somebody had thrown me down the line,) stopped me drowning".

Barry Gibb, Ringo and Stuart Litte's dad (Hugh Laurie) get the royal nod - but undisputed king of music - our own JL - who should AT LEAST be granted a barony by now, gets nuthin'. Ugh.

It is a dreadful omission, it can't even be that he lives in the US because Barry Gibb does.
Maybe he once insulted the Queen, or laughed at Prince Charles's ears or something

Or he trod on a corgi, just didn't see it snuffling around his feet as he ambled up the carpet with his shades on.
