To allow for picture attachments on the forum we are allocated free of charge 200mb of space, we are currently fast approaching this limit.
We can pay for more storage on a monthly basis but this is something I don't really want to do as I would prefer the forum to be free for the members to use, I don't want to make a change or ask for donations.
I don't want to deter anyone from posting and adding attachments, therefore when we get near the storage limit I go through the stored images and delete some of the ones in older threads to free up space. If this is in one of your posts I apologise but hope you understand the reason why.
As an alternative to adding attachments I would encourage members to use a hosting service such as postimages.org or similar. Details of how to do this can be found in this section of proboards help.
Postimage seem to of had a problem with their .org domain and so photos hosted there are no longer shown on the forum, there is a work around and that is to change the .org to .cc by doing this you should see the picture again. I have changed some of the more recent posts to allow for this however many of the old posts are still not showing the picture. Should you want a particular post updating and can’t do it yourself let me know.
Note this does not affect any new photos you upload to Postimage they will automatically be given the correct .cc domain.
This is what they posted a few days ago
postimg.ORG domain is locked by Registry, no prior notice. While we hope to resolve the issue, we chose postimg.CC as our new home. Please update codes embedded in your websites.
Your pictures are still there, but any pics links you posted you have to change the .org in the link to .cc to get them to show again.
lasttrain929: Thank you eloneen, until yesterday I had never heard of these insects. They live a strange life. Not sure about Circada ice cream or pizza though, not for me.....

eloneen: Timeblue I hope you enjoy it! It was sunny and in the 90s here most of last week, with some rain. Today it's cloudy and barely making it into the 60s. Crazy NC weather! ::m1809::

orioles70: with warmer (HOT) weather, the cicadas have gotten noisy. A local news reporter used an app on her phone and said it registered in the mid 80s for dbs (hearing protection recommended). They're not quite that bad in my yard.
