To allow for picture attachments on the forum we are allocated free of charge 200mb of space, we are currently fast approaching this limit. We can pay for more storage on a monthly basis but this is something I don't really want to do as I would prefer the forum to be free for the members to use, I don't want to make a change or ask for donations. I don't want to deter anyone from posting and adding attachments, therefore when we get near the storage limit I go through the stored images and delete some of the ones in older threads to free up space. If this is in one of your posts I apologise but hope you understand the reason why. As an alternative to adding attachments I would encourage members to use a hosting service such as postimages.org or similar. Details of how to do this can be found in this section of proboards help. www.proboards.com/user-guide/posting/inserting-imagesPersonally I and many other members use postimages.org how to do this is as follows and can be used with computers or tablets. 1) Go to postimages.org and in the drop down menu select 17-monitor and no expiration, click choose images. 2) Select the file location on your device of the photos or pictures you want to post up, you can select one or multiple photos 3) The site will download the pictures and you will then see a list of links, the one you need to copy is "hotlink for forums" 4) Paste this hot link into the main body of you forum post, when you press create thread your picture will be show up within the post. More information on postimage can be found here postimages.org/faqShould you require any further information, help or clarification then let me know. Thanks Horace.

I for one would happily donate to this forum. Thanks Timeblue I don't really want to ask for donations or charge as I think it will put off new members. As long as everyone is happy with attachments getting deleted once in a while then things can remain as they are.

I always use Postimages so it's no problem for me.

Postimages was easy! I'm all for charging fees - help keep some of the 'riff-raff' out. (Wait a minute, I'm the riff-raff - forget that comment...).

As a side benefit, using Postimages sorts out the size of the photo for you; something which I've otherwise found to be somewhat hit or miss. Which leaves more time for my other favourite hobby

Postimage seem to of had a problem with their .org domain and so photos hosted there are no longer shown on the forum, there is a work around and that is to change the .org to .cc by doing this you should see the picture again. I have changed some of the more recent posts to allow for this however many of the old posts are still not showing the picture. Should you want a particular post updating and can’t do it yourself let me know.
Note this does not affect any new photos you upload to Postimage they will automatically be given the correct .cc domain.
This is what they posted a few days ago
postimg.ORG domain is locked by Registry, no prior notice. While we hope to resolve the issue, we chose postimg.CC as our new home. Please update codes embedded in your websites.
Your pictures are still there, but any pics links you posted you have to change the .org in the link to .cc to get them to show again.
example:
Change this: https://s5.postimg.org/fal7wrdjb/100_3333.jpg
to this: https://s5.postimg.cc/fal7wrdjb/100_3333.jpg
