I live in the no-man's land of North Derbyshire. We get all the benefits of Yorkshire but with none of the pride. We do get Yorkshire TV and Look North so have been brainwashed in the ways of God's Own Country.
I once knew a girl whose father had made sure she was born over the border in case she was a boy in order to play cricket for Yorkshire. Woody lives in South Derbyshire.
This is his home, it used to a public house.

Ashbourne I think is where he lives? Not quite, it's Cubley where Woody lives, in the former Howard's Arms pub.
Cubley is about 3.5 miles south of Ashbourne.

Ahh I see my hometown Wolverhampton Telford certainly opened my eyes, it proves that a community can't be manufactured. There was only one pub in Telford town centre in the early 1980's, The Iron Master. I used to drink in Shifnal, Iron Bridge, Newport and Oakengates, The Iron Master was a big No, No in those days, it was very rough. fighting was the main entertainment most nights.
I spent my last night down there (Tuesday 31st July 1984) in the Connaught Hotel in Wolverhampton, Tuesday's were singles night at the Connaught. It was a dump even in those days, my mate picked up a slapper and drove her home to Wednesbury, but that's another story. We didn't get back to Telford until 4am.

Kinda thought that. A 'hoe'? Is that short for whore?
The slapper told Steve and myself to keep quiet so as not to awaken her kids.
I never want to go to Wednesbury again.
