Belated celebrations for Yorkshire Day. It's time to reflect on one of Yorkshire's Honourary Sons, Mr Michael Palin who's from Sheffield! Though he's spent more time in London than anywhere but he has been known to show his Yorkshire roots such as in Monty Python and the Holy Grail , Ripping Yarns and mostly recently a drama called Remember Me. Classic scene from The Holy Grail!

...150 livin in shoe box in the middle of the road! Here are some more Yorkshire jokes.
Just to clear something up here,Barnsley is SOUTH Yorkshire (ok ok technically it IS Yorkshire but too close to the midlands for my liking...)

I only understood the guy from London joke. joke 1- "arse cream" arse being slang for bottom. arse sounds like ice in a Yorkshire accent... joke 3- "Is it a tom?" sounds like "Is it at home" in a Yorkshire accent.... Ok?
