Patrice sends his best, too. Although, as usual, he thinks the occasion's all about him.

Big big thank you to you all, vlogdance , Horacewimp , Grroosss , eloneen , Buttler , queenofthehours and BSJ ! Wow, it's humbling to have so many celebrities gathered to celebrate one's birthday: besides yourselves, of course, there's Jeff himself, Patrice the Turkey (what Vlog says is true, he celebrated my birthday with a cake that said "Patrice"), the Mother Queen proudly wearing a Street Next Door t-shirt and lots and lots of llamas (some of them famous too), just the way I like it.

I'd also like to share with you two wonderful surprises which I received in my mailbox for my birthday. The first one: On the envelope we find a small sticker of a llama, which is the secret "password" that suggests it's someone from the forum. It's very colorful, which gives me a hint about the sender. The next llama is carrying real wool pompoms! She's a cargo sharer. After the message from the forumhead herself with her own handwriting, there's another cute llama (this one is blushing, who knows the story behind it? And wearing kind of the Argentina national team jersey). This card travelled all the way from Northern England sent by my friend queenofthehours ! Big thanks! And the second one: Llama? It has to be another forumhead! And if it includes cactuses, even when they aren't expressly rotulated as "Wilf Gibson", you know the suspect can only be one. What could be better than Per Gessle celebrating my birthday with a llama cake? Oh, and on top of everything, sending me his good wishes in Swedish, to prove the authenticity! Notice the football player (his hair might resemble mine a bit, but he looks more skillful). And it included a small surprise, a wonderful woollen finger-llama! A new specimen that joins the herd, just arrived from South Wales. Big thanks to unomusette too!

Ah, sorry I wasn't here to wish you well on the big day, but it looks like you were properly celebrated by your forum chums Helmut83
Chuffed that the postal greetings arrived safely too, knowing how they had to negotiate the dreaded Argie postal assault course

I dare say you'll be snowed under with goodies on your actual birthday tomorrow, but here's a teeny tiny monster cake to get you in the mood Hope you have the expensive white chilling nicely for tomorrow - we'll be here to help you polish it off, woohoo!

BSJ ! Happy birthday, my Dude! I brought you a couple of cakes to celebrate this special occasion but... what are you doing?... no, not with the shovel!!! Oh, well, a proper BSJ cake must be cut with your trademark movement, you are right! I hope you had a beautiful day, whether it was receiving visits or just spending a pleasant time with tk6 , and that your 42nd year of life is the best one yet. Iced boutique beer and cake for me, thanks. Cheers to the one and only BSJ !

Happy birthday, BSJ ! Once you've finished the monster cake, here's another one to shovel down. Hope this year's full of great moments that leave you with the best memories. What a great idea to hold the party at the forum pub *raises a glass of Richard Shandy* After these celebrations, nobody's typing will be accurate for a week.

And a forum party wouldn't be complete without at least one llama present. This looks very much to me like the Birmingham Llama (who was important in the Industrial Revolution). Not sure who his drinking companions are, but they're probably some old acquaintances of Woody's (who's on bartending duty). Looks like he's just ordered a pint of Richard Andes. Not sure we should let him near the jukebox though. He might want to hear special cover versions of ELO songs, like: Standin' On The Plain Big Wools Need Herd Love RockCria! Spit's Over
