Of course there must be a cake, but knowing your thrifty ways this one has a detachable decoration which you can surely use to maximum effect should anyone try to disturb your peaceful literary day
The old man is of course madly excited and can barely contain himself with joy as he joins in the mayhem and general jollity of the celebration

Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
