Everyone knows of Roy Wood's Christmas cracker "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday", it gets played to death every December. But how many of you are aware that Mr Wood wrote, played all the instruments on and produced another Christmas 7" single in 1980. Roy originally wrote the song for "Darts" (a UK Do-Wop style band). Darts rejected it so Roy decided to record and release it himself. Like his first Christmas song, this one includes children singing, well it wouldn't be Christmas without kids, would it?
I hope you enjoy this bit of seasonal Woody, it's called "Sing Out The Old, Bring In The New"
Take it away Roy.

I remember this song, can't imagine Darts doing it - it's too classically Woody-esque. Their version of Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, also by Woody, is one of my all time faves though.
