I can't find the right thread - there was a discussion about JL's middle name - but according to the US Public Records Index his middle initial is "L".

anyone on this board been there?
I heard it described as "council housing" which in American would mean public housing. Seem to remember a photo - didn't look that bad. Anyway, if someone travels to Birmingham - is it worth checking out? assuming you are a huge fan.

After the very complete tour Horacewimp gave me, whenever they talk about a place in Birmingham it's not just the Brummies on here who have a chance of knowing it. Sadly I see some of the photos I put in my trip chronicles have been taken down for some reason, like the ones of the Birmingham cathedral, Horace's car's cactus mode and Floozie in the Jacuzzi. |

Anyway, if someone travels to Birmingham - is it worth checking out? assuming you are a huge fan. For me it was. I mean, it looked a house like all of the others in that neighbourhood, and there's no commemorative plaques or anything that "certifies" that Jeff Lynne lived there. But knowing that through that door a young Jeff Lynne went in and out several times a day, that in the kitchen behind that window he sat and ate and that in one of those rooms he started getting familiar with the guitar and then writing songs, a bit the origins of the genius, being a big fan it certainly meant something to me. |

, but we're OK. 
Apparently it's quite hard to see them with the naked eye, you need to be looking through a camera or other type of lens?
