Neil Diamond proved to be harder than rock, and moves on.
Round seven is between two great songwriters--one from Ireland one from Northern England....Van Morrison vs. John Lennon.
(remember to vote in the poll, or your vote won't count)

Wow, I can't believe I just voted AGAINST a Beatle. I really like Van Morrison!

Van is my second favorite artist. He is still putting out great stuff. ('Neil Diamond proved to be harder than rock' By the way, thanks for doing this, Chippa)

I'm not crazy about either of them but having been bored spitless by Van Morrison once at Glastonbury, and hearing of his grumpy way of cutting gigs short if he feels he's not being shown enough respect/adoration, I'm plumping for John Lennon. At least he had a sense of humour.

John probably because of my love for The Beatles and I don't know enough songs by Van Morrison tbh

Yes, I chose Van. I like so many of his songs, compared to only a few of John's solo recordings.
