Talking about platonic loves... how have your holidays in Wales been, wolvesgirlgonewild ? Are you back to stay in the land of internet now? Well the first week was a bit rubbish, rained a lot (well it is Wales!), second week was lovely topped up my tan (as I had a tan before I went on holiday) and I went swimming in the outdoor pool and me and Hattie (the dog) had a little paddle in the sea whilst avoiding a lot of jellyfish! Yes I am, came back on 7th was very happy to get internet back

Glad to know you spent a good time with your family and doggies. How valiant of you to get in the sea while it was full of jellyfish! Didn't you get caught by any? And glad you have internet again. Hey, now that I think about it, I have suspicions unomusette might have been deceiving us all this time. She says she lives in Wales, but on the other hand, she posts quite frequently on this forum, and to do that you need internet. There's something here that doesn't add up...

Well there was jellyfish on the beach and some in the sea so it was like an obstacle course on the beach! Haha well she probably has wifi whereas the only place to get wifi where I am in Wales are pubs and the main complex at the caravan park, the signal isn't too good so it gets difficult to use the internet on my phone!

It's true, being near Cardiff I'm able to tap into wifi probably because of the National Assembly being there, but further west in teddy bear country it can be hit and miss in Wales.

Did you manage to scoff any bara brith? The most important questions should always be asked first. Yeap, my parents recently spent a few nights in towns and a farm in the inner part of Wales and I couldn't communicate by WhatsApp with them there, which was particularly worrying because they were driving a car. It must be the mountains that make it hard for the signal to get to those places. What's "teddy bear country"? Is it as cute as it name suggests?

Nooo, Wolfie!!! Turn on your heels 180° and go back to New Quay again, and don't come back until you've carefully tasted and then greedily downed a full bara brith. You don't understand anything about food until you've tasted that wonderful pudding, it must be among the most exquisite sweet delicacies in the world.

What's "teddy bear country"? Is it as cute as it name suggests? It's the way the wilds of Wales are referred to by softy South Wales people (well, the people I work with). This is the kind of teddy bear you might come across, staggering out of the woods there Here y'go wolvesgirlgonewild, nosh it before Helmut gets his paws on it
