Thanks, elophile. Now excuse me while I get up and grab my cane. I think it's time to hobble over to the bathroom to put in my dentures. They're done soaking now! JUST KIDDING!!!

eloneen, I see you are a very possitive person, an optimist, and to a certain extent I admire that, but I've got to tell you you've met your... match? Nemesis? Opposite?... here: I'm a most negative and pessimistic guy. Even as opposed extremes, I agree with what you said. From a physical point of view, I've been way better a good 10 years ago. But mentally, I've never felt as good as now. The problem is that your physical pinnacle is so far away from your mental pinnacle. When you are physically at your best you are a bit of a silly guy, then when you grow up and start being more mature mentally you are already decaying physically.

Notice that the men that I chose are not in their 70s and 80s, like Sean Connery, whose look 30 years ago would make my list today. He's old enough to be my dad, so no thanks! Attachment Deleted 1983 (yes!) Attachment Deleted 2016 (no) I'll see how I feel about truly old age when/if I get there. Lots of my relatives have lived into their 90s and beyond. My mother just showed me a picture of my dad's cousin who recently celebrated her 100th birthday. She looks great for her age-- like a woman in her late 70s or early 80s. It was the cousin's 96 year old sister who sent the picture to my mom! Middle age is pretty good, in my opinion. I think it's the "sweet spot" where you're old enough to know how you want to live, and young enough to still do it! Of course it won't be this way forever, so I'm determined to enjoy it!

Here is another wonderfully gorgeous mature man -- the stunning and brilliant Denzel Washington, a hands-down favorite for African American women for at least a generation! At 62, he's aging beautifully! Society does judge men less harshly than women as we age, but even by the standard set for men, he's holding up better than most, and is a clear standout for a man in his 60s, in my opinion. Love you, Denzel! Attachment Deleted

Yeah, I've got to admit that's a good looking senior man, eloneen , besides being a great actor. Talking about actors and actresses, and going back to the platonic crushes subject, here are a few Argie actresses which are/were favourites of mine. I have even spent many tea times swallowing parts of the unsufferable shows they were in just to watch them. Luisana Lopilato: this one is my age and I've liked her since she was like 14. You might know her because today she's Michael Buble's wife. Maria Eugenia Suarez: this one is younger, about 25, too young for me but what the hell... None of them were as much as platonic crushes though, just actresses I considered very goodlooking.

Not bad, Buttler . Did you watch any particular movie that you are suddenly in love with her? La la land maybe?

elophile: Wolfie is on holidays now in Wales and as you know internet hasn't been discovered in Wales yet; she will still be there for a couple of weeks, but I'm sure she'll drool over this once she comes back.

Oh, ok! Well, I won't feel hurt by her temporary lack of drool then. I hope it will be a nice little surprise for her when she returns.
