I am a sucker for a happy ending and this is a prime example, nice work wolvesgirlgonewild! It's great how both Melinda and Jeff ended up happy, and what an unexpected treat to see him acknowledge the forum. I hope you're busy on the keyboard again, creating something equally magical with a certain globetrotting Python. Who knows how many famous, tasty celebrities Melinda might have met up with? After all, she seems to have figured out the time travel trick to perfection....

Haha I'll try my best and if people wanna see it then I'll show it you guys and see what you think, I feel I'll have to do some more research on a certain Mr Palin as I feel I don't know enough about him yet but I'm in the process of watching stuff with him in and interviews, got lots of Python to watch still!

Lots of Python to watch? That's the kind of research I can approve of Yeah my laptop is a bit funny about Python, I've only got up to the beginning of series 2, I tried to play the rest of series 2 and it decided to freeze and now that disc won't play at all, so gotta wait till I'm at home and play it on my dvd player. I haven't even got to the films yet, though I've seen clips of course! Love Michael's sergeant in Meaning of Life, marching up and down the square!

You might be able to get hold of some of the Python albums on vinyl, they can be even funnier that way because it's all going on in your head. The one I remember, I think it's called Matching Tie and Handkerchief, has a double groove on Track 1 so that you never know which of two sketches you'll be hearing.

What's with this new sudden obsession of yours with this Monty Python guy? From one day to the other Jeff is no longer the most desirable man on Earth but that Pailin guy replaced him. Why?

I love them both equally, they're both talented in their own way. elophile would agree with me So yeah, I've literally been drinking all day. I had a pitcher this afternoon with my lunch then had a bacardi and coke at the student bar before my presentation, so I spent the time before I had to speak drinking my squash so I could sober up. Then my lecturer took us to the pub and I've had about 3 bacardi and cokes there, so safe to say I've drank a lot today. And still had time to gush over Michael Palin when I convinced my group to put a Monty Python clip in the presentation

Education seems to involve a lot more alcohol consumption these days than when I was a gal. I feel I've missed out

It's the fact that I was attempting to do a presentation under the influence of alcohol, never done that before hahaha

Geez, you British are such heavy drinkers! During my youth, studying and alcohol were two mutually exclusive factors. We studied during the week, then drank a bit on weekends' nights. But drinking during whole uni days, starting at midday? Wow! I've got to admire how you can pull that off.

Let's just say I was feeling the effects during the presentation so I just kept drinking my squash to sober myself up hahaha

Education seems to involve a lot more alcohol consumption these days than when I was a gal. I feel I've missed out I didn't even go to a higher education establishment, but having a older brother who did I had the best of both worlds, no lectures to attend but loads of University's and Colleges to gatecrash and drink the cheap subsidised booze.
