Uhm, not me, I follow more Rugby Union. But good luck to your Cas Tigers, may they win the league (uh, although it might be called in some other word having in mind that the sport itself is called "league").

Most league fans have the same opinion about union, it's true that league is a lot more faster and exciting but in the UK,the money and tv coverage favours union so that's the bigger of the two codes. Does Argentina have a league system?,most of the countries that play rugby do but I haven't heard about it where you are.

No, I don't think we have a rugby league system, or if we do I've never heard of it. It's all union here, but I reckon there has to be be someone playing league somewhere under the radar. Heck, as surprising as it may seem we even have a small league (I think of just 4 teams) of gaelic football down here.
So Union moves more money than league in the UK? I knew league had quite a few supporters up there but I was unaware it was so big.

Just to say that the Tigers have now won the league leaders shield for the first time in their history! Well deserved, they are a joy to watch and have provided the best rugby this season. Onto the playoffs now and hopefully the grand final.

Congrats to the Tigers! How are the playoffs? From quarterfinals on or from round of 16? Also, I assume it's one game only, or is it home-and-away?

You would assume that by finishing the regular season (23 games) top of the table and by 10 points clear of the 2nd placed team Leed Rhinos that Cas are the champions, yes? NO! we have only won the league leaders shield and the officials at RL hq have decreed that there is now a 7 game playoff leading to the 'Grand Final' the winners of which will be crowned champions. Confused? we the fans are.....

.....and you wonder why the game hasn't progressed beyond the M62 corridor with muppets in charge of the game.

We are in the GRAND FINAL!!!!! October 8th next week, Castleford Tigers RLFC will play Leeds Whinos... sorry Rhinos in the grand final. The culmination to a season that has seen us win the league leaders shield (the true test to being the best team) the Tigers team that has outscored the rest, played the most exciting and exhilarating rugby and hopefully will win for the first time, the grand final.

The rugby league awards tonight and Castleford swept the board with top coach Daryl Powell, Man Of Steel (player of the season) is Luke Gale, top try scorer is Greg Eden. Just the grand final on Saturday now aginst our local rivals Leeds Rhinos and if we win that then this season will be our best ever. For a town of around 40,000 we have home attendences of around 10,000-11,000 that's not bad going. #CasTigers
