They're not even trying to raise that much, considering all she's suffering with. Surely that kind of money is peanuts to most of her supposed friends?

For the benefit of those still doubting this fundraising campaign's authenticity, those responsible have since posted a video featuring Rosie herself:
The situation is even more heartbreaking when you see and hear what she's been fighting the last few years! Couldn't just one celebrity friend help?

The video does seem to show Rosie's deterioration and is so very sad, I wish her well and hope she receives the medical care needed very soon.
For the first time ever I heard one of her songs played on BBC Radio Two yesterday.

Wow, that's painful to watch. I do hope she gets the help she needs.

Must agree with the above and add my hopes that her life improves soon. Seems like a whole lot of really bad luck that's hit her. It's still sad that she needs to make a public appeal though, if we all know about it surely her quite well-off friends do too?

On a connected note does anyone know about the tracks that Jeff co wrote for the film "Still Crazy"? Apparently he co wrote one with Ian la Frenais and one with Rosie Vela and Ian la Frenais? The first is called Dirty Town and the second is called A Woman Like That and is performed by Bernie Marsden I had no knowledge of these tracks at all! One for you Shardender?

A Woman Like That sounds almost exactly like All She Wanted, from Zoom.
