I notice how Jeff has modified his voice somewhat during ROB, to sound a bit more like the Chuck Berry original and less like the "ELO II" version. I like it.

Cos they'll point out to him that he probably used to wander round in shorts and a t-shirt in 18 degrees when he lived in the UK. 18 degrees is almost balmy enough to go swimming in the North Sea. Up here in the frozen North, coats/jackets are banned on a night out. (They aren't but it's a popular myth that they are) True story..... years ago, my wife and I visited London in November to take our 7 year old daughter to see the stage version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang that was on at the London Palladium (she loved it !). At the end of the show we walked back to onto Oxford Street to get a taxi. Before I'd said anything to the taxi driver - I'd literally just opened the door - he said "you're from Newcastle". When I asked him how he knew he said "There's only the Geordies are stupid enough to wander round without a coat on in November"

Aye. I was trying to work out when in was 2003 seems about right. Happy times given me and my daughter barely speak to each other now.

Amazing picture. I never got to see the set from the front at Wembley, just the side: one large looming video screen and about two of the middle screens and that was fantastic. I can't begin to imagine how exciting it would have been to see the full thing.
