I also ordered Harvest sleeves. They're just nice to have instead of the plain white sleeve. Can always switch out!

poorbob , received the sleeves today and very happy. Now which 20 records are going be the lucky one wearing a new sleeve?
I was given this 7” of 'Rock N Roll Is King' without the company name, ‘CBS Associated Records’ and no distributors specifics on both sides ('After All', B side) from a dealer in exchange for some records. I think I got the better deal. Can’t find too much on this record yet. If anyone knows more, please post me here.
I found that CBS combined their minor labels under one label called ‘CBS Associated Records’, that was short lived. Not sure of the years.
More information came from from Jon Lock – ‘Light Years Ahead’ (thank you): “Only a small number of copies of RNRIK were issued on this unusual blue label, not too sure how many blue label copies were issued, not many though and I think it was something to do with the move to CBS and almost like a prototype blue label before they introduced it fully with Calling America. Or it could simply have been a wrong first run. I guess we'll never know the full reason.” Interesting, Jon found one a short time later after I contacted him, from France!

Glad to hear they arrived, the guy is pretty fast at dispatching I see over here stating that the version of "After All" is a longer version...
Great find wiggle

I bought this mint condition beauty, a classic song played by the world’s best violinist, in honor of my friend vlogdance .

Oh, BSJ *wipes away a tear* C'm'ere Now I feel my old mistake has been put right. You know, the time I went into the local record shop with my last few pennies, considered buying Clog Dance, and then chose another single. Looking at this beautiful pic, I suddenly want to dance around my table. Let me put the kettle on first so I can hold a cup of tea as I go, in keeping with tradition. Thank you again, BSJ

A real good day at a record show yesterday. Some interesting finds.
Two Roy Wood albums. “Boulders”, sealed. “On The Road Again”, 1979. Released only in US, Germany and Netherlands. Carl Wayne and John Bonham (!) appear on it.
A near mint “Doing That Crazy Thing” with shrink wrap still on.
“The Move Greatest Hits Vol 1”, sealed. Released 1978. Sticker on front reads “Direct Import Product of Great Britain“. Jeff isn’t shown in photos front or back, but is mentioned in the short history on the back about replacing Carl Wayne in 1970 and his song “What” is on it.
and ten “The Move” 7”s and a Discovery promo.

Record Store Day was today and having been called to a higher duty then sleeping in late, went in search for a Gwar pic disc for Mr unomusette . A record store owner had this gem waiting for me. (Thank Tk6 for getting me ass in gear)
All ELO band signatures from their Eldorado tour – 1974/75. Jeff Lynne, Richard Tandy, Bev Bevan, Mik Kamiski, Melvyn Gale, Kelly Groucutt and Hugh McDowell.
You can barely see Kelly’s signature. Signed in one of the worst places possible! He’s above Melvyn’s to the left. The T at the end of Groucutt runs into the finger. You can just make out the K. Showing Mel's right side up.
Pat tells me it might have been part of a record promotion because a corner of the album is clipped – or an overstock and someone got lucky getting them to all sign. Because he can’t prove these are the real deal, not the greatest signatures and he doesn’t deal in autographs, he sold it to me for what he claims he paid ($20), and will take it back if I’m not happy with it.
This is the first tour Kelly Groucutt did with them, taking Michael De Albuquerque place.
And, first tour for Melvyn Gale. He took Mike Evans place when Mike left after the US tour in 1974. Melvyn took his place for the rest of the tour in 1975. So, it would had been signed in 1975, when ELO toured the US again in '75. They didn’t play Toledo.
What y’all think? The real deal?

Looks great BSJ , comparing the Bev and Jeff signatures to the ones I have your album looks very similar. I've heard of clipped sleeves before I think they were usually unsold records returned by the shops, for $20 you can't go wrong. It certainly needs framing Have a look at these, the autographs look very much like the sleeve

Isn't it fab? What a bargain and I'd be happy to believe those signatures are the real deal. Proud of me ninja twin, sniffle.

Thanks unomusette and Horacewimp. Little concerned about Jeff’s last name, but have to remember when he signed it. And, because I’ve looked at Bev’s and Richard signatures a lot, they seem right on. Unsold, not overstock, was the word I was wanting to use. Frame? Who frames things now a days? That's so passe!

I like Mik and Hughie's signatures, they're really spot on. Looks like Mik puts an E after his first initial, wonder if his middle name is something interesting, like Englebert? Or Eugene?
