Thanks for the info ootbartifacts, what about the classic yellow Jet label do you know when it was 1st used? Also I have a question about my OOTB label, but I'll have to dig it out to take a pic of it

I think the first ELO record to have the classic Yellow Jet label was again "Rockaria" Jet/UA UP-36209. Later re-issued on the re-numbering series as S-JET 100 along with Telephone Line on S-Jet 101. Not forgetting the elusive Turn To Stone S-Jet 103.

Thanks again ootbartifacts. Now here's my OOTB (USA Import) but the labels are a light blue, all other I see are dark. I know that there was some dispute over quality and manufacturer was changed (is my copy a casualty of that?).

That's a different label to the other pressings, other than the colour yours has a small UA Logo, the common ones have the same layout though as you say darker tone and a large logo. A lot of the USA singles have a variation of large and small logos, I hadn't noticed the same with the LPs though!

My Roll over Beethoven B side has the stamp of Queen of the Hours but plays Manhattan Rumble (49th Street Massacre)

Just a UK Harvest standard edition, I did read that the B side got changed early on to Queen of the Hours from Manhattan Rumble mine must have been pressed on the change over.

Great to see and hear about everybody's ELO collections. I've been a collector for many years and have built up a large collection of memorabilia. I have some unusual items, like the life-size standee for Discovery and the matching promo sword. But I have one ELO item which may be the only one in existence!!! I'm from Ballymena, a town in N. Ireland. Back in the early 90s, ELO part 2 were to play a concert in my home town, but, for various reasons, the show didn't happen. It made a lot of headlines at the time. But there were a few posters that went up to promote the concert. I was lucky enough to get one of them. I framed it and it hangs proudly in my collection at home. I have never seen it anywhere else so it may be the only one in existence.
