Different label versions of Hold On Tight - Spanish pressing recently acquired. Again subtle variations but one to look out for. Attachment Deleted

Just noticed this on eBay, red vinyl of ANWR, but it has the ELO logo picture label on one side and the track listings (A+B) on the other... I know the regular black vinyl is labelled this way but my red vinyl has the more boring regular side A side/B side labels Is the example above a rarity or was it just hit and miss which version you got? Also I see that the French OOTB used this label configuration...nice!

My Red vinyl ANWR has two Jet labels, I never knew they issued logo ones as well (another one to look out for)... The USA ANWR Blue vinyl issue has a text and logo label.

Just a quick message to say I have updated the ELO sections on my site, Out Of The Blue Artifacts.com. I added more rare records and made the Memorabilia section more user friendly with the drop down menu's to access the individual items. I will add a few more records over the next few days.

Later pressings had the Jet label om both sides.

I think the first Jet 200 Red Vinyl pressings had Jet labels on both sides as they were printed on old style United Artist labels (with yellow and white light beams) and the 2nd Red Vinyl pressing had a new brighter style label with yellow and pink light beams and has a Jet label on one side and ELO logo on the other side. You can see both versions here www.eloalbums.co.uk/a-new-world-record half way down the page.
Interesting the same seems to apply to On The Third Day Jet 202 Clear vinyl issue as there are two versions, one with older style United Artist labels (with yellow and white light beams) and the 2nd pressing with a new brighter style label with yellow and pink light beams, see here www.eloalbums.co.uk/on-the-third-day half way down the page.
Eldorado Jet 203 Yellow Vinyl only seems to be issued with brighter style label with yellow and pink light beams.
Face the Music Jet 201 Green Vinyl only seems to be issued with old style United Artist labels with yellow and white light beams,
Out Of The Blue Jet DP 400 / UAR 100 Blue Vinyl only seems to be issued with old style United Artist labels with yellow and white light beams.
But I stand to be corrected !

But I stand to be corrected ! I was referring to the UK issue of "A New World Record", the original UK releases of "On the Third Day" and "Eldorado" were on the Warner Bros label. Showdown wasn't on the UK version of "On the Third Day" it was released as a 7" single on the Harvest label with an instrumental version of "In Old England Town" on the 'B' side. There have been no official ELO releases in the UK on the United Artists label.

The UK release of OTTD had a totally different sleeve from the USA version, see below.

Hi, sorry I meant United Artists (UA) were the distributers of Jet records and when Jet records switched to CBS distributers they used UA labels/catalogue codes and covers till the stock ran out. There is an official UA ELO UK release, A New World Record was issued with UA labels… Attachment Deleted
