Does anyone have quirky versions of the standard LPs? I have a gatefold version of FTM from Holland which has the inner sleeve in the UK version etc as the middle of the gatefold. I've also a copy of time with a grey inner sleeve as opposed to the usual blue inner sleeve

Not a LP as such but I've a copy of A New World Record on CD and it doesn't list Above the Clouds anywhere. The tracks are listed on the CD itself and in the paper wallet but Above the Clouds is missing off all the lists. It is actually on the CD though.

Don't think I have anything interesting but I'd love to see a pic of a gatefold FTM

I am officially impressed. And that doesn't happen very often. Thirteen versions, you say? And all different? Were there Dutch gatefold versions of other albums too? So many questions...

Holland produced 2 gatefold combination LPs called "Originals" on the Epic Label, they were "Time & Discovery" which is rare and a much rarer "Secret Messages & A New World Record" I have only ever seen 1 copy.

Here is the Discovery & Time combination from Holland, pressed on the Grey Epic labels dated 1989. It has the inner lyrics sleeves and 2 double-sided posters, one connected to each record.

Ooooo, they're both amazing! Thanks so much for sharing, ootbartifacts and starlight, you are lucky bunnies. Reminds me I have a double version of ELO 1 and ELO 2 joined together, but I don't think it's very rare. Both of yours look like proper treasures

One of my favourite items I have is Bevs book with autographs from Roy wood twice, Jeff Lynne Jasper Carrot, the other idle race members plus their roadie Bob Old and Richard Tandy, I'd gained Roy's autograph back in 1981 and grabbed the rest at the walk of stars event I was lucky to get an invite to, should have got ex footballer Trevor Francis as well as he was also at the event but was a bit sheepish about asking him!
