BSJ, I've never taken an ELO CD to test the sound during a test drive, but I'm wondering why not! It seems like an obvious thing for a real ELO fan to do before committing to a new vehicle. Perhaps I've just assumed that ELO will sound good anywhere, anytime. brings to mind the old Billy Joel song ... "What's the matter with the car I'm driving? Can't you tell that it's out of style? Should I get a set of white wall tires? Are you gonna cruise a miracle mile? Nowadays you can't be too sentimental Your best bet's a true baby-blue Continental Hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junk It's still rock and roll to me Oh, it doesn't matter what they say in the papers 'Cause it's always been the same old scene There's a new band in town but you can't get the sound From a story in a magazine Aimed at your average teen How about a pair of pink sidewinders And a bright orange pair of pants? Well, you could really be a Beau Brummel, baby If you just give it half a chance Don't waste your money on a new set of speakers You get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways It's still rock and roll to me"

Making the drive down to Southern California yesterday, I was searching for a suitable radio station since my local stations were out of range by then... came across one playing Strange Magic and decided “yep, that’s the one!”

CD players are now passe in cars. You need a smart phone, or some such nonsense, for personalize music. My old car had to have Eldorado in her player before she would even think about turning over her engine. This new car doesn't know what it's missing.

My school band took a trip to Disneyland over the weekend, they were playing All Over the World near the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I was screaming all the words as soon as I heard it (er, more like sensed it) and I was hoping since we were so close to LA that perhaps JLELO themselves decided to have a little concert...but it was only a karaoke machine sort of thing.

Electric Light Orchestra! You Shine a Little Love on my life, ELO www.facebook.com/OfficialJeffLynne/videos/372794703344595Jeff Lynne May 19, 2019 at 11:38 AM · Celebrating 40 years of this tune! Tag someone who shines a little love on your life. spoti.fi/30k7zWC "Now here's a Classic American Top 40 Extra from May 19th, 1979, and although the Electric Light Orchestra is known for scoring twenty top forty hits in Billboard without ever hitting #1, they would take this single all the way to the top in Billboard's competitor Radio & Records, here's Shine a Little Love. Landing the highest Hot 100 debut of the week coming in at #57, that's the Electric Light Orchestra with a Classic American Top 40 Extra from 1979, Shine a Little Love." - Larry Morgan

classic toys + classic tunes! should make for a fun film based on the trailer, I'm presuming that Livin' Thing will be used for an important scene in the movie

Evil Woman on the classic rock station today. Wish they'd go to some deeper cuts, but that's just not their thing.
