Swedish musician David Myhr, the album "Lucky Day" 2018. Bonus track "Spellbound" is contained only in the Deluxe Edition and Japan CD.

ok, 'Atlantic' by Keane. i heard this at glastonbury this year and not being a massive fan of the band keane it wasnt that familiar to me, but on coming back i dug out the cd and had a listen, this sounds sooooo much like ELO that you might be forgiven for mistaking it if you didnt know them. have a listen, its a great track and is vaguely jeff lynne-ish upto about 3 mins 30 seconds and then it goes into full on classic ELO melodic mode. great track.

perhaps this one has been posted before? came across a reference to Klaatu that compared them to ELO so had to check it out. Same vein of symphonic pop, but doesn't really sound like a Jeff song.

Yes, I hear what you both mean, Keane are pretty under-rated. queenofthehours and I have agreed many times what a brilliant voice Tom Chaplin has especially when he sings with Queen. For me, only he and George Michael have come near doing the songs justice in the way Freddie did.

Good find flyershistory I'm going to love just about any faithful cover of Livin' Thing, aka the best song ever! looks like their debut album is an album of covers - sort of like the Teal album by Weezer I like their choices: Abba, Beatles, ELO, 10cc, Beach Boys, Cars ... a Who's Who of power pop. dwaynegretzkyband.com/

Came across this one the other day— “Love is Like Oxygen” by Sweet: I had that album! I think I won it in a radio call-in contest.
