Thanks poorbob ! I listened in on the radio, but it's so much nicer to have the visuals as well. Some thoughts on the interview: I was also a bit sad to hear that Jeff was speechless about other hobbies. Hasn't he mentioned somewhere before that he enjoys reading, though? Some interviewer should ask him for a few book recommendations. Also, this may be going out on a limb, but can we assume via his "Songbird" story that he may enjoy some casual birdwatching? I would be thrilled to think so, of course. I also seem to be in good company with Jeff, because I can't have tomatoes (or any kind of alcohol) either, although I have a different medical condition. It's too bad I can't share some of my tomatoless/low acid recipes with him. If anyone else happens to need tips though, red peppers actually make pretty good tomato substitutes. I've even successfully modified some recipes to make low acid curry.

The video stopped halfway through and I got a message I had to buy membership to continue any further. It didn't say what organization the membership was for, which I thought odd. Is it supposed to do that?

I live in Ireland where, although we get the BBC channels,we don't have the red button service so I was listening to Radio 2 on my computer. Jeff missed the start of Evil Woman but otherwise this was a great concert. It was a big surprise to hear Eldorado Overture leading into Can't Get It Out Of My Head which sounded heavenly as ever. From Out Of Nowhere didn't sound out of place amongst the classics and is a song which is really growing on me. I really enjoyed Do Ya as well. Hopefully, this will get shown on BBC2 or BBC4 sometime this year. They didn't have the studio lights on him at the start of "Evil Woman" either. I'm not convinced the BeeB technicians didn't have his microphone on either.

Is it supposed to do that? Happened to me too. The site will only let you stream/download a limited amount of data per day for free, and I guess streaming it exceeds that limit. Opened the link again in an incognito window in Chrome and immediately downloaded the video instead of trying to watch it online, was able to watch it just fine from the download.

The audience sound was faded up quickly just as Jo Whiley started the introduction so may have been a slow tech response all round, lights and sound. I was not convinced that All My Love was the best choice for a live track given Jeff's throat, perhaps One More Time would have better suited the evening slotted in after Rockaria!

Now .... good news for those of us who would like a complete version of the concert. The Red Button coverage at present has a fully audible introduction including audience sound and off stage PA introducing Jo Whiley and .... the first line of Evil Woman has been restored! No changes to the studio lights at the start so perhaps that was specifically cued to the music.
Now you might say it has been overdubbed but I think with the audible audience at the start somebody has found a backup tape. Either way we at least get a full version as presumably Jeff wished us to hear. So I have taken two copies of the concert on my PVR ready to enjoy again.
Be quick though the Red Button coverage is only available from now to 0610 tomorrow and again 0610-1655.

I felt lot of sensations after I watched the entire video. First of all, what happened with Jeff at the start of Evil Woman? Did he miss it or it was all about his microphone?? Second, in a smaller place, would be nice to hear the string section a little bit more. Especially on the ElDorado Overture, where once more the keyboards deleted the real string sound...This is just my sensation, don't know if you dear people feel the same... And least but not last, I felt really worried about Jeff's voice. Maybe something on the audio, the acoustic, the place, or something else, but his voice was different. Less efforts, less high tones, completely different from the Wembley Or Bust performance...
