Grroosss posted this link in the pictures thread, but I am not sure if everyone saw it; it was posted on Facebook: I don't know how to share social media posts on the forum, but here's a screenshot if you can't view the link for some reason: Is anyone else going to enter? I just finished up my entry and posted it. I sort of did a song painting, where I tried to paint some of the imagery that I get from the song. It's a tiny painting, only 4"x4", acrylics with a Swarovski crystal on canvas. I used regular, metallic, and glitter acrylics. Unfortunately you can't get the full effect from a photo. Anyway, the bird is a songbird, a yellow warbler, because I thought that would tie in well with the song on the album of the same name. They didn't exactly specify how they choose the winner... I don't know whether it's their favorite entry, or a raffle draw of all the participants? There's also no deadline listed, so I just made mine as quickly as possible! Anyway, best of luck to anyone else who is entering!

BIuebird -- that's incredible! And that you were able to finish it so quickly, too! ...And if you ask me, the competition doesn't seem to be very stiff yet... nobodyschild and I were thinking of doing a joint drawing again, but it will be significantly more difficult now that we're 100 miles apart, so we'll have to see how things work out.

Thanks eloneen ! Grroosss Thanks! I was thinking it took me too long, haha! I was working on that tiny thing until 2am last night, because I kept seeing more things wrong with it. I don't usually work that quickly in general (I typically break it up over several days because I need extra time to spot/fix mistakes), but I guess I had the right motivation. Ah, but most people probably haven't had time to make something yet, either. I probably wouldn't have had time if I hadn't missed work yesterday because of car trouble. I hope you two are able to work something out, I didn't realize you were so far apart at the moment! You will have to let us know if you are able to get an entry in, good luck!

Yes BIuebird your painting is absolutely stunning!! Grroosss is right, the entries I have seen on Instagram have mostly been photoshop collages, so I think yours will stand out As for the distance yes she is at college right now in Nevada and I’m finishing up my senior year of high school in California still, making it a bit hard to do any joint art...as is my usual, I have a great-sounding idea in my head that I have no ability to execute and probably only works out in my head, not on paper...

This is my proposal, with a nod to "OUT OF THE BLUE", where, in addition to seeing a spacecraft that exists deep in a sea, in a place on our planet, you can see a couple of "astronauts" on the outside of the same...
Good luck to everyone who participates.

I’m not artistic at all so can’t enter unless they would accept a stick man representing Jeff, good luck to all forum members who do enter.

Our own tedblight has an entry. Jeff with the spaceship in his glass's and good old Fred! Nice. Thanks. On my computer screen it looks great enlarged. But on a small phone screen it doesn’t look too great, a bit dark too compared to my monitor. Kinda reminds me of the OTTD double gatefold LP! Fingers crossed anyway.

Thanks nobodyschild ! Hmm, are either of you able to do digital drawing with Photoshop or a similar program? If you could email the files back and forth to work on, that might be a way to do a collab. Thanks queenofthehours and BSJ , glad you like it! jrequena That looks amazing, great work! I had to take a closer look to notice the divers, that's a really nice touch! tedblight Ooo, that's one of my favorites of the other entries so far! I love the spaceship reflections, and how you worked Fred in so subtly, well done! I am glad to see that other people from the forum are entering, hopefully someone from here will win! Even a share on the official page would be super cool.

Hey all, I don't really use Twitter, but I looked up the official Jeff Lynne's ELO twitter page just to peek at some of the other entries. It seems they have posted a deadline there, 5pm ET on October the 21st.
