tedblight, it looks brilliant! I didn't know that in other countries you could choose your license plate. What percentage of the people who see it do you reckon has an idea of what it means?

It's a thing of great beauty, Timeblue !! Timeblue is a thing of great beauty, yes (I think you said it recently on another thread too?). But the owner of the car -and the plate- is tedblight.

That was half of the appeal to me. I think only a low percentage will get the BOP reference, the hardcore fans! It looks like a standard plate to most people.

Exactly. It's not for the common, only a few privileged have the knowledge to decipher it.

Interesting sighting today: I saw a license plate with ELOHIM, but it was a religious reference to one of the names of the Hebrew God used frequently in the Old Testament (confirmed by other religious references on the frame around the plate) and not a reference to our favorite band.

An old bearded man that hardly anyone has seen except in certain ceremonies where his worshipers can see him on top of an elevated part of the building (call it altar or stage) towards where they are all facing, all of them singing together songs like "Heaven only knows", "Moment in paradise" and similar kind of stuff; this old man being adored and revered because he created so many things, among others a (new) world (record), and on the third day he rested... isn't ELO kind of a religion after all? No? OK.
