I think it's going to become more common, that bands including the children of the main act will be given the support slot. We saw it with Cast last year, I forget the name of the band but John Power's son was in it and they rocked pretty nicely. It sort of follows that the children would have much the same musical taste as their parents so it's a win win situation for the audience

That's as maybe but Mig 15 are not exactly a synth band, they have guitars and a rockier edge. They did have an early 80's vibe to them though and the lead singer came across as part Suggs part Jagger (well he did to me anyway...)

Some great pics there, did they do Red Frame White Light during the check up? Also good to hear instrumental version of Maid of Orleans(well almost) in the checks too. A great set list and like you say, some cracking early choons. Did you enjoy Mig 15? I wasn't expecting to but came away thinking that they were brilliant.

These setlists weren't signed there and then in person, they must have been done prior to the soundchecks. You could ask them during the checks I suppose?

When we turned up at 4.00pm the band still hadn’t signed all the set lists so they were handed out in the interlude between MIG 15 and OMD. It seemed a bit of a headache for Ed at 100% records.

That's exactly what happened at our gig too! Was that Ed who was giving them out and who was directing people around then? During the break,he and his assistant had a big bundle of envelopes and he then proceeded to go around and locate people to give out to.

More than likely, Ed is a rather rotund chap, short hair, early 30s and usually is the guy who gives you all the VIP paraphernalia. twitter.com/ed_bigmac?lang=en
