Of those songs recently found on Jeff's ASCAP page, a few date back several years...
First of all, Don't Want To Lose It had popped up a few times in conversation as something known to fans, which likely rules out this being a possible working title for On The Run, which features this lyric. Saying that, maybe Jeff's original home demo - as released in 2001 - went by this name? On a related note, did he ever register Dead End Street or Motor Factory?
Similarly, Rob Caiger has previously mentioned I Know That You Know as being the original title of A Matter Of Fact, so that's one less mystery to be solved. I'm guessing this was registered ahead of Jeff voting that song from the 2007 expanded Balance Of Power reissue, as it's claimed he doesn't particular like either known variation of this track.
I Made A Man Out Of You is close enough to another unreleased song that I've seen mentioned in the past, while Do You Remember is literally the opening line of The Bouncer, which I was once told may only have ever been intended as a placeholder name that serves to better describe its musical sound rather than any lyrical theme.
Finally, Shard End Crescent is another I'm sure has been kicking around for quite a while (at least going back to the Long Wave period, even if it was never intended for that covers project), and Just A Matter Of Time was supposedly an outtake from the Zoom sessions, though I've long since forgotten the source for that particular detail.
Could any of these resurface as bonus tracks on some almost inevitable deluxe or import edition of the next ELO album? Maybe, but please don't think of that as a hint... I'm very much in the dark on this one!

This may be old news by now, but we can confirm there is a new ELO album on the way!! Jeff himself told us a teaser about there being a new album coming out, hopefully this fall, his manager said by the end of the year for sure. This all fits in better with my recount of our trip and experience but I didn’t want to wait that long to share that there will certainly be another album, and soon! (My recount is still in pieces and written with about fifteen different writing styles, depending on the mood I was in at that point during the flight home...so forgive me while I work on making something that will actually be understandable! Lol.)

I note that on the ASCAP copyright website some more songs have been added to the "Jeff Lynne’s ELO" credit. They are older ELO branded songs but now have the “Jeff Lynne’s ELO” name as well. About five in total, 10538 Overture, Showdown etc. I wonder if these could be live recordings from the recent tour? It would be nice to think a DVD/CD of the recent tour could be in the offering.

I know they recorded all the shows, so it’s very possible there could be a live album from this tour. I hope they do!

And a video of them playing a different song from each city. Golden!

I have heard crazy stories about pre-order sales with no album title. Just listed as new Jeff lynne's ELO I assume they are only stories, but some have said the new lp was available in a deluxe edition too.
I haven't seen a thing.

Am I the it one getting nervous about the lack of news ? I would have thought a title and release date let alone a pre release single might be lined up by now ?
