DC is closer, but Atlanta will probably be the best option for me, given the dates. I need to confirm a few details first. SO EXCITING!!! I'm SO excited for you lot across the pond

Interesting to see the over-lapping gigs are actually TT's european tour elements...i wonder if it will take the same shape as the uk gigs? whomever is missing mike h/don/lee/milton and co is having to deal with a big loss of talent.

The perils of living in such a big country! having to organise flights to get to a gig. With the exception of Dublin and Belfast,I could drive to any of the UK dates if needed with London being the furthest away (a 3 hour drive maximum)

Sounds like some more UK dates in April next year. Guess that's when the album will be released

tremblinwilbury I think after several years in a row of ELO touring in the UK, you all can "Hold on Tight" a little while longer this time! Timeblue I won't have to fly this time for Atlanta or DC. Both are very easy drives of 5-7 hours for me, depending on highway traffic. I only flew to Philly because I had a required event at work the night before and it would have been about a 8-9 hour drive for me, at least ... Oh, and I was able to get a free flight with frequent flyer miles from a credit card offer!

5-7 hours? Crikey! I complained at driving 1 1/2 hours to Manchester....

Summer time there must be a couple of UK stadiums or festivals in there somewhere. My guess is for CarFest. Last month when Chris Evans announced that he was leaving the BBC and just two days before he announced that Jeff was coming on his show in October the CarFest Twitter feed tweeted this... "Following his announcement this morning Chris & the team plan to continue with his joyous festival CarFest. Plans for next year will be announced in the next few weeks"
So the line-up for CarFest is due to be announced soon by Chris, and we know Jeff is due on his show sometime this month. We also now know that the "something very special and new" from Jeff is not the new album and as the US tour dates will be announced today it cant be them either... so? I believe there may be a ticket announcement for CarFest 2019 as early as this week.

After seeing Jeff live three times (including once at Wembley) which is more than I'd ever dreamed off a few years ago, I can't really complain if Jeff doesn't tour the UK next year. If he does play some dates and they're in locations I can't reach, I might protest but I still can't complain. The only shows that I don't like Jeff playing - from a gig-goer perspective - are those shows like Glastonbury or Hyde Park where even if you do snag a ticket you probably will end up crushed or somewhere at the back. Gigs in fields are not for me. That said, ELO shows in fields are very enjoyable on TV - Hyde Park is one of my favourite gigs to watch.
It's good to see Jeff doing so many shows across the pond. While I'm eager to hear what he's doing over here, I'm more pleased to see that he's giving the ELO magic to North America with plenty of dates.

I’ve been looking at the pre-sale details for the Nashville show and it mentions a Fan Club Presale that starts tomorrow? Can anyone tell me how I might get to partake in that?

Does a June 20 tour start leave enough time to finish up half an album's worth of songs? Jeff's been known to work very quickly. In the old days it took months for the record label to do their thing. Guess that's a lot faster in the digital age. And then, the band has to learn some new material. Which band, which songs? Richard or no Richard? WIWAB was the only track from the last album. Realistically, Jeff has to be satisfied with a new tune and teach it to the band. We're probably only going to get one track off the new album. And the set list might not change up as much as we like to imagine. A lot of the venues are easy enough for me to get to. Choosing which one may come down to which date is most convenient. DC is on a Thursday - but I'd gladly take Friday off. My wife and I have wanted to visit Vancouver. It is nice to have options! I was disappointed that not more new songs were played. The current band played quite a few at the warm up gig at Porchester hall
