Except for ELO at the top of the list, the rest are in no particular order. (Voices would be second favorite.) No real diversity of musical eras here. They do cover nicely my adolescent musical tastes, though. Out of the Blue - ELO 4 -Foreigner Rumours - Fleetwood Mac Hotel California - The Eagles Voices- Hall and Oates I like Queen, too, but no one album is my favorite, except for the Greatest Hits album with the live version of "Under Pressure" -- which is absolutely my favorite song ever! That live version does not have David Bowie, but it still sounds great! If I could add one more, it would be Here at Last, The Bee Gees Live! which is soooo much fun to sing along to!!!

ELO - Time Muse - Origin of Symmetry Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath The Music - Strength in Numbers Fleming and John - Delusions of Grandeur Didn't know you were such a fan of "Time"... If I had to only listen to one ELO album I'd plump for Time, especially if I could have When Time Stood Still as a bonus track. I don't think I could ever be tired of hearing Twilight.

Holy shit. Umm...
ELO-Wembley Or Bust(not a greatest hits collection, but a live album. That's allowed,right?)
Beatles- Abbey Road
George Harrison- Cloud Nine
Traveling Wilburys -Volume One
The Kinks-State of Confusion
Ask me tomorrow, and the list will probably be 100% different.

Alone in the Universe - ELO Rubber Soul - Beatles Pet Sounds - Beach Boys Voices - Hall & Oates Willy and the Poor Boys - CCR
Man, it could be Alone in the Island. 'Blue' looks like the kind of song that drives you nuts when you have nothing else to think of... and 'Fault Line' too.

I knew someone was going to say something about Shakira. You are probably too young and have not lived or were just a baby in her old times, and since you got memory Shakira has been doing crap (and worse crap each time, in my opinion her output during the last decade or so was very poor) so I don't blame you for thinking shit of her as a songwriter/musician in general. But when Shakira was young (and still a brunette who sang in Spanish) she was a hell of a songwriter, extremely talented and creative, and she actually did some very good music, in my opinion at least. I think "Pies descalzos" has several very good songs, and "Donde están los ladrones?" is an amazing album, with just one or two weak compositions and a lot of great ones. I'd recommend you to give it a full listen. You probably won't end up sharing my opinion but I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised by her stuff on that album being way better than the crap you probably know her for.

Beach Boys were not on my list, but I'm a very big Hall and Oates fan. Seeing them live with ELO on the Time tour in 1981 was absolutely incredible!! I went to the H2O concert in 1982 or 1983 but have not seen them live since. I've heard the shows DH does now are very short, but just as good as the old days otherwise.
