Woody's the man for me, I loved him in Wizzard when I was a kid before I ever knew he was part of early ELO. Then in about 1978 I got into ELO and the first time I saw a pic of him and Jeff together my jaw dropped and I goggled for about an hour, teenage hormones a-gogo

Wood may have co-founded the group, but there's no doubt in my mind that Clark did more to shape the sound of ELO for a longer period of time.
Kaminski comes in a close but distant second.
