Last year Mr William Hunt wrote the official follow-up to his 1972 Wizzard b-side "The Carlsberg Special".The new tune is entitled "El Original Brew", it was issued as a limited edition single by "The Ancient Order of Froth Blowers".
It sounds like ELO mark 1 meets Wizzard.
Here it is for your enjoyment.Click on the record label to enlarge.Attachment Deleted

Here is another release by The Ancient Order of Froth Blowers, it's called "The Kentish Town Song" and was co-written by Mr William Hunt.
The opening riff does remind one of Mr Jeffrey Lynne's first ever hit record, "10538 Overture", please listen to this track sensibly, thank you for your time. It does have that classic ELO Mark 1 sound about it.

Sounds a blatant rip-off

Well didn't Jeff Lynne blatantly rip off the Beatles "Dear Prudence" in the first place?
Then Paul Weller ripped of "10538 Overture" for his "Changing Man".
There are only eight notes on the musical scale.

You realise Bluey, now you have gone public with this, no doubt our Jeffrey will hear about it. He will be on the phone to create more work for his lawyers. Another lawsuit perhaps.Plagiarism is alive and well.

Jeff Lynne isn't exactly lilywhite when it comes to musical plagiarism himself.
Especially with The Beatles back catalogue, possibly that's why the surviving members chose Lynne to produce "Free as a Bird".
How's Lynne's plagiarism case going against Phil Bates for his German projects Electric Light Band and ELO Klassik? Here's Phil Bates and his Electric Light Band in concert, this is extreme plagiarism, is it not?

Those ads are for The Orchestra, it does contain Mik Kaminski and Louis Clark. Kelly was a member until his untimely death in 2009.

Phil Bates fake bands, Electric Light Band and ELO Klassik, do not have any connection with Electric Light Orchestra or Jeff Lynne.
They're filling their pockets by playing Jeff's songs and abusing Electric Light Orchestra's good reputation. As far as I'm aware Bates has never toured the States with his fake German bands, he's only toured over there as a member of The Orchestra. Bates bands mainly tour Eastern Europe where the majority of the population can't tell the difference between his fakes and the real McCoy.

I was aware of most of that. My point with this post was that The Orchestra was listed as Electric Light Orchestra in one of those ads, which is still very deceptive in my opinion. The article in your post refers to problems with misleading ads/promotion for the The Orchestra as well as these other bands he belongs to.

I think publicising as Electric Light Orchestra is more to do with the promoter's, not the bands. In Martin Kinch's interview with Mik Kaminski, Mik said the same thing happened to him and Kelly when they were OrKestra, the promoter billed them as Electric Light Orchestra. Jeff Lynne was made aware of it and he took legal action against Kelly & Mik, it wasn't their fault, but they got the blame from Lynne's lawyers.
