Beautiful shop art vlogdance . Who says ELO can't be classy?
Jasper and friends are coming back to my town next week but sadly I'll miss them again as I'm on holiday. So near yet so far...

Jasper and friends are coming back to my town next week but sadly I'll miss them again as I'm on holiday. So near yet so far... Oh, that's a pity, queenofthehours, you'd have enjoyed the show. (And you could have joined in the finale, on your Wilbury guitar!) On holiday, you say? Visiting Northampton WAS my holiday! Here's my holiday souvenir - I saw this jumper and couldn't resist. I shall be wearing it for the Official Commonwealth Games handover to Brum, as the sound of Mr Blue Sky rings through the city. All together now: "Hey you with the kitty face..."

Great report, vlogdance , glad you enjoyed Northampton and the show, and good to know Bev Bevan is still in top form. As for me starting fashion trends, I knew that some day my eccentric initiatives had to catch, even if so far they only caught among animals. It's a start.

Heh, glad you enjoyed the night, Horacewimp . (Especially Bev's brief, but impressive vocal contribution ) I think you covered the main points. Glad you got to take some pics, there were some very nice images of ELO shown on the backdrop screens during the montage they showed to illustrate Bev's career. (You should have asked to borrow a couple, then we could have had another round of voting in the poll... ah, well, maybe just leave the result as it is!) Relieved that you got out "free of custard-y", so to speak.

That photo from the '78 world tour was the first pop poster I ever bought and adorned my bedroom wall for many years!
And they did do Funky Moped! Poor old Jeff, he doesn't know what he's missing.

Great pics and write-up Horacewimp - Bev's hair would be the envy of a man half his age. Did they play a Sabbath song? Just wondering because of the backdrop photo. I'd love to have heard Funky Moped, total classic

Thank you fluffy for liking my pictures, have you ever seen Bev play live with ELO or any of his other bands?
